A1 Business Experts LLC, doing business as The Fundability Institute (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to making its website, learning programs, assessments, and participant platform (collectively, the “Services”) usable by the widest possible audience — including nonprofits, faith-based ministries, rural and agricultural organizations, youth-serving programs, and community initiatives whose teams work across a wide range of devices, connection speeds, and abilities.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing obligation rather than a one-time project. This statement describes the standard we work toward, what we have implemented, where we know we fall short, and how to reach a person who can help.
1. Conformance Target
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard most commonly referenced in United States federal and state accessibility practice, including guidance issued under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Current status: partially conformant. “Partially conformant” means that most of the Services meet the standard, but some content or components do not yet fully conform. Known exceptions are listed in Section 5 below. We publish that list rather than claiming full conformance, because an honest statement is more useful to you than an aspirational one.
2. Measures We Take
- Accessibility requirements are considered when new pages, forms, and program modules are designed, not retrofitted afterward.
- Pages are built with semantic HTML structure — headings in logical order, real lists, real buttons and links, and labeled form fields — so assistive technology can convey meaning and not just appearance.
- Interactive components in the participant platform are built on an accessible component library that provides keyboard interaction patterns, focus management, and ARIA roles for menus, dialogs, accordions, and form controls.
- Color and contrast choices in our institutional palette are selected to meet or exceed the WCAG AA contrast minimum for body text and interface text.
- Informational graphics used on public pages are accompanied by native text content conveying the same information, so the substance of a diagram is never available only inside an image.
- Time-based lockouts are avoided in assessments and orientation modules; participants may save progress and return later.
3. Technical Specifications
Accessibility of the Services relies on the following technologies working in combination with your web browser and any assistive technology or plug-ins you use:
- HTML
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
Where these technologies are unavailable or unsupported by your browser, portions of the Services may not function as intended. JavaScript is required for the secure participant platform, including registration, orientation, assessment, and score pages.
4. Compatibility With Assistive Technology
The Services are designed to be compatible with recent versions of the following combinations. We recommend using the most current version of your browser and assistive technology for the best experience.
- Screen readers: NVDA and JAWS with Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on Windows; VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS; TalkBack with Chrome on Android.
- Keyboard-only navigation: full tab, shift-tab, arrow key, Enter, and Escape operation of navigation menus, forms, dialogs, and accordions, without requiring a mouse or trackpad.
- Browser zoom and text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality, and responsive layouts for phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Operating-system settings including high-contrast modes and reduced-motion preferences.
The Services are not tested against, and are not supported on, browser versions no longer receiving security updates from their vendor.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We disclose them here, along with what we are doing about them and what you can do in the meantime.
- Informational posters and infographics. Several program pages present a designed graphic as the primary visual. These images carry descriptive alternative text, and the same information is provided in native text beneath the graphic — but fine detail inside the artwork itself may not be fully conveyed by alternative text alone. If you need any graphic described in full, contact us and we will provide the content in plain text.
- Downloadable PDF documents. The Master Legal Package is offered as a PDF for reference. PDF tagging and reading order in that document have not been independently audited. The complete text of every legal section is also published as accessible web pages at Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer, which are the authoritative accessible versions.
- Assessment and scoring interfaces. These interfaces contain dense tables and multi-step forms. They are keyboard operable and labeled, but navigating long tables with a screen reader can be time-consuming. Simplification of these views is on our roadmap.
- Third-party content. Video, mapping, scheduling, or payment components supplied by third parties may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We cannot control the code those vendors serve. Where a third-party component blocks you, contact us and we will provide an alternative route to complete the task, including by telephone or email.
6. Requesting Accommodations or an Alternate Format
If any part of the Services prevents you from completing a task — registering for the Fundable Organization Orientation™, submitting a Fundability Assessment™, reading your results, or communicating with our team — we will provide the same service through an accessible alternative at no additional cost. Available accommodations include assisted registration by telephone or email, documents supplied in large print or plain text, extended time on program milestones, and live assistance from a member of our staff.
No documentation of disability is required to request an accommodation.

To help us respond quickly, include the web address of the page, a description of the problem, and the browser, device, and assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within three (3) business days and to provide a substantive response, including a remediation timeline or an accessible alternative, within ten (10) business days.
8. Assessment and Review Approach
Accessibility of the Services is evaluated through internal self-assessment, combining automated testing tools with manual keyboard and screen-reader review of primary participant paths. We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit or published a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) at this time. Where a formal accessibility conformance report is required for a grant, contract, or institutional procurement process, contact us to discuss the request.
This statement is reviewed when substantial new functionality is released, and at minimum annually. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
9. Relationship to Our Other Policies
This Accessibility Statement supplements, and does not limit or replace, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer. Nothing in this statement creates any warranty, guarantee, or contractual obligation beyond those expressly stated in the Terms of Service.
